    Harry ,you seen the lift handle i have on my 123 .was missing a button ,just a bolt in their ,i machined a sleeve to go inside and made a in dent for the top ,so the wire loop could be used to ,i made that as well .every thing is on hold now as i,m building a deck for my son .

    Brian E ,the guys are right ,about the c/r ,if you just got the cub ,i would go to the top of page ,and look at binder books and get a manual ,from them its well worth the money ,to many folks think they know about tractors ,but he don,t know much if don,t know kohlers .and there are others...

    Mike,on photo @12:54 you show the hydo and hydro spring ,that needs some welding .if you go to FAQ @ number 14 i shows the repair of this plate .i went through this repair ,and it made the hydro work as it should ,David

    Mike.no stay away from [tdc].just roll till you get the most clearance on the exhaust clearance ..you didnt say now much clearance you have on the valve ,should be .017to .020[cold] the c/r stays open till you reach 600 rpm .which you can not get too with your starter.hope this helps .David

    Frank C,when you adjust the exhaust valve,roll the engine back words till you come up on the exhaust valve,or you be on the c/r ,and you will be way out of adjustment .hope this helps .David

    Magnum 18 Front Crankshaft Seal

    i would go back with a c/r seal .they are metal ,and use leather for the seal area ,and you can get them with double lip .David
