149/K321 refurb. The flywheel came off!!!! Time for a beer......

Thanks again for the advice on pullers.

Those harmonic balancer pullers are tough but do bend....

After putting that much stress it still would not come off until I hit it with the air chisel.

Now I"m waiting on parts from our great sponsors.

RICHARD - Must be something with K321's. My flywheel on the K321 I tightened the jack bolt on my harmonic balancer puller with my weaker 1/2" impact gun, let it hammer a bit, tapped the flywheel several times. Let it sit on the flywheel for several hours, tightened it some more with the impact. Finally gave it one quick turn with my big 18" cresant wrench hammering on the handle and it popped loose. But with all that I didn't bend my puller. You must have REALLY been wrenching on that jack bolt.

As an old retired farmer once told me, "Don't use force, get a B-I-G-G-E-R hammer!".

Part number 19 on the 147s electric lift is missing a chunk on the bottom and is NLA through Cub Cadet. Although I haven't had the lift apart yet water ran out of the inside when I took it off the tractor tonight. My question is... Does anyone know where I can get this lift rebuilt or should I look for an aftermarket lift to put on the tractor? If I go aftermarket where would be a good place to look for one?

I'd post pictures of the 147 only Angel and I just can't figure out how to get InfraView Resizing to work properly. Anyone want to e:mail some info on that would be greatly appreciated also. TIA!!!

I forgot to thank you Matt for your advice.

Thank you and have a great semester at college.

Marlin, what Charlie didnt say was that not too far back he had a bunch of rebuilts. Maybe you and Kraig could take a ride and visit him. I suspect he's lonely up by the Artic Circle.

Oops..... I meant the above part. And just glancing I didn't see it in your site, Charlie. And for that kind of money, I'll look for an aftermarket piece or part the tractor. So, I guess I am back to anyone know of any good aftermarket lifts?

Anyone know what size the nut is on a 54" deck to change the blades?I know some are 3/4" but don`t know if the big decks are the same size .TIA Later Don T
