I forgot my camera at work!!

Here's the latest. We got roughly 2" of snow. What we did get is melting fast, and it's to be warm the next few days. Sat is supposed to be 48, but breezy. I'll know more by tomorrow night, but as of right now it is still a go. Fri at noon will be the final say on whether or not we plow.

Even if it is too wet to plow we will still have an event/swap meet/BS session!!

We got 4-5 on the ground in Rochester and still snowing!!!

I welded up a Vulcan #8 Hillside horse plow today, it'd be nice for people that don't know if they're comin' or goin'.

Charlie says he has dibs on the BS consession!!

Have fun gang! I can't attend this time due to heart problems but plan on making Fall PD.

Middle Steve and family are still planing on heading out Friday AM and staying until at least mid-day Sat., longer if the weather holds. We have rooms booked "across the street" at the Sleep Inn (indoor pool for Monica and the kids while I BS in Travis's garage).

One change of plans is to leave one tractor at home...782 is going to sit this one out (deck is on it, ready to mow the yard when I get back) and the only tractor making the trip will be the fresh 582...sure hope I did a good job putting it all back together!!!!!!

See you this weekend!!!!

Steve-
Seeing those pics of your 582 "rebuild" make me want to bring the 1872 just to have something to shove you along in the furrow.

I guess the memory of you giving the 1872 a run for the money with your 169 still sticks with me..

Travis/Charlie-
Any word on morning conditions of the PD site?

This just in from the south. Seems he got a little snow last night, Grrrr

The problem is that I'll have to wait until the end of today to see if the snow melts off. If it melts off today, I'm confident that it will dry out tomorrow enough to plow. The ground is light here and the sun is peaking through as I type. Unfortunately I can not make that call at this time. I can give an update this afternoon though.

I do have an offer from the City Council to have the tractor pull in the street.

It's going to be a long day here at work. I can't wait to get home, and get everything all packed up ready to go. We're leaving tomorrow about noon time. I'm looking forward to visiting with everyone.

I'm still going, gotta get my 1200! Maybe quite a bit lighter tho, we'll see. I love it when people tell me I can use something and throw a last second "by the way..." I can use afriends trailer, just has outdated plate, last year. I'll figure it out. See you there!!! Leaving in the am(hopefully)

As it turn’s out, the forecast for PD is better than it is going to be here. The St. Louis forecast calls for rain starting around noon Friday changing to snow sometime Friday night/Saturday morning with an accumulation of 1 or 2 inches with an expected high of 45.

well the trailer is loaded, the truck is loaded, now i wait till my friend mark 1IH GUY (thats his lic. plate) shows up at 8 am. hey earl what time are you passing thru rockford? chris

Just loaded the trailer and noticed that something didn't look right. Got to crawlen around underneath and found that one of my angle iron cross members had split, right up the weight bearing side.

...... I've got a plan! I'm going to take a new piece and bolt it on the back of the old one once I get the trailer jacked back up into place. I'll weld it in place next weekend. Crap, time to put the maintenance hat back on. LOL.

I just arrived at the campground in clear lake and no one is here. And we were charged a peak season rate.
