Terry, it looks spooky there for some reason. Look at the bright side though, no loud neighbors. LOL

Pat and I have 3 tractors loaded. We will be there around 7pm. Do they have Old Milwaukee in Rockford Iowa??

Hey Terry,
Welcome to Iowa, you must have paid extra for more privacy and a beutifull wintery theme. LOL

Terry - Wasn't that awful expensive reserving all that space for yourself?

Just in case anyone was wondering.
Plow Day 13 is ON!
The Friday night plow is ON!
And the Saturday Tractor Pulling Sled is ON!

Looks like it's going to be a great time all around.

Charlie,
If the skid loader did not make tracks how in the world to you exspect to penatrate that hard soil with a light weight moldboard plow?

I can see it now, 100lbs of weight hanging on the back of a plow and 3 tractors pulling the plow just to bust through the ground that hard enough to not allow a skid loader to leave tracks.

Travis had helium in the tires and we all know he's full of hot air anyway ;)

See what you guys @ PD13 are missing! You may want to check the forecast if you live toward the east. It's gonna be bad!

Everybody be safe !

Plowing was pretty muddy, but as the night went on the ground firmed up and plowed better. Sat. morning plowing will have to wait till the frost burns off. The pile of snow in the backround of the Travis pic shows more than a half inch of snow...See you in the morning.

To quote Earl, "WooHoo, Plowday!" This was my first, and even as a spectator, it was GREAT! Three cheers to Charlie for hosting this event, and to Travis and everyone else involved with putting on such a successful, fun day. My goal is to be ready to plow next year!

Greg L. Rumor has it there may be a plow day this late summer just West of the the Twin Cities so you best start burning the midnight oil and get working on the 782.

Plow Day was again great but I forgot to bring my camera so I am counting on the rest of you to post a lot of photos.

Well,

Just made it home from another great Plowday in Iowa. Thanks again to Charlie and Travis and anyone else for putting this on. It was another great event.

Ken Weaver, the Carlisle All Trails did just fine in the mud. They plowed no worse than the Firestone Bar treads did on my other tractor. If you need a good all around do anything tire I would buy them again.

Charlie & Travis and Sneaky Peet Puller guys...

Thankyou!
Thankyou!
Thankyou!

We even got 3 door priZes! Thanks to those who contributed them. We won a set of ratchet tie down straps(me}, blue&white Cub Cadet cap & a nice screw driver set.

I have 70 nice photos which I will work with soon and upload somewhere. My fav Cub shot is of a big red tractor. It is really impressive IMHO.

Charlie & Travis,
I would like to thank you for another fun day. I will admit that I was quite skeptical when I arrive and saw the snow on the field, but other than a few WET spots, the plowing was fantastic. There were a lot interesting tractors there.

Thank you all who hosted, organized, and contributed to this great event. PD13 was a success! Thanks Rob for bringing an extra plow and parting with it at the end of the day! My rookie event was a great experience! Met a lot of nice folks and had a lot of fun! Thanks all.
