Maybe we can have the Steve's push the beans along a little faster and go for the weekend before? Sounds like a plan to me. ;-p

We have been combining beans for a week up this way and have several fields ready to go, grin
Gonna start Corn next week! Man I hate those new JD combines, They are quieter than my dang Tahoe, LOL

Any sooner and ill be out of the picture. Trying to paint and put the 122 back together. Now maybe a weekend later would be nice hint hint.

Finally got the PlowMaster and Twister into the garden getting ready for Plowday

As always, we will be having door prizes. I have several lined up already, but if you have something you would like to donate to the cause, please email me (see profile for email).

The beans have been cut and we are getting some rain to help soften things up some......looks like it'll be another fun event.

REMEMBER TO REGISTER at the Plow Day Website http://home.mchsi.com/~digger/PD8/plowday8.html

We will be going. Registered this morning.

A mechanic should go there and setup shop! He'd probably be plenty busy

<font size="+2">PLOW DAY INFORMATION</font>

Due to the weather forecast and existing conditions, it <font size="+2">MAY</font> become necessary to move to the rain date of {Oct. 30th}.

Check this site frequently over the next 2 days for a final decision.

I will do my best...this one's going to be hard to call.

<font size="+2">PLOW DAY WILL BE MOVED TO THE 30th</font>

<font size="+2">We WILL NOT hold Plow Day this weekend, it will be on the RAIN DATE, Saturday oct. 30th</font>

I just left the farm, and after making a very thorough evaluation of the field and parking areas, it just isn't going to go this weekend. Even if we only had 1/4" of rain Friday....it would be TOO MUCH.

Later on this evening we I will announce some options for those "moving iron" that we might be able to make happen this Saturday for those who have issues with that.

<font size="+2">Please tell those without email/internet and feel free to post on other related sites</font>

Thanks for your concern and cooperation.

Steve

Suggestion for the iron swap....maybe meet at the Petro in Rochelle, IL?? OR...go to the church parking lot next to Bluniers...

Is this just swapping or a mini-swap meet?
would like to get out of the house as next weekend
is 7 days away and may have to work

Kurt,
Right now we're just tryin to work out the logistics of gettin anyone that needs to trade iron and or sell iron together, Cabin fever in October is a bitch ya know, LOL

<font size="+2">Transportation of Equipment - Plow Day</font>

If the date change caused anyone to "miss" a hauling deal I will offer the following as a means of helping out.

I will make an effort to be available on Saturday AM (8-10AM or so)if you would like to drop something off at the PD site for pickup next week. Please use the following procedure if you need to do this:

Email me (see profile for email) using the subject <font size="+2">"Plow Day Drop Off"</font> before <font size="+2">5PM Friday</font>. Include a short message that describes your drop-off/pick-up needs, and what time (between 8AM and 11AM) you expect to show up. You MUST include ALL of your contact information. Tag your items with all of the contact information for both parties (drop-off & pick-up) and include all of this in the email. Please make sure both parties agree to this arrangement BEFORE emailing me.

I can't promise whatever you bring will be kept inside, nor can or will I accept responsability for anything that might happen to it (not responsible for lost/damaged/stolen/blah,blah,blah items), but I can do my best to help you out with any needs. Pre-paid items only (I'm not getting in the middle of anyones deals, etc.)

I'm just throwing this out in-case tonights rain day decision throws a real wrench in anyone's plans.

Steve

Kurt,

No swap meet, but like I said I can be around if people with specific needs need to meet or drop-off, please email with subject line below if you need to take advantage.

I will gladly BS with anyone who wants to use the PD site as an AM meeting site...like I said, just give me a heads-up.

Charlie.....I sent Eric an email, am awating reply. The Rochelle Petro works for me. I'd say from 6 am to 12 noon in the front parking lot to give folks a window to work with.

Anyone else....Bueller?....Anyone?.....

Art,

NO, not both weekends, at least not at our place....but I can make "special needs" things happen in the AM Sat. if necessary....see you next week!!!!
