Want to thank Bluniers for hosting the plow day again and letting us play in the mud!

Here's a nice red tractor I saw today!

Hooked up with a lot of old friends and some new ones too today. Had a great time, turned out to be a nice day. Little on the windy side (I heard 45-50 MPH winds on the radio on the way home), almost blew off what hair I have left. Chased my hat a few times too!

I have to extend my thanks the whole Blunier family for letting 50+ nuts tear up their yard and soy bean field. I made the big mistake by not bringing anything to play with. Can't wait till spring!

It was great to see the folks I'd met before and great to meet the ones I hadn't.

I'll second Tom's comment on the wind it was a good one, but it helped dry the field some.

Thanks to the Blunier's as well!

Okay, here's another try, perhaps this time, I'll have 'em right...

Hi All. As one of the "green guy's" I would like to thank the Blunier's for hosting this event yesterday. I had a great time and appriciate all the work that went into getting this setup, especially with the way the weather tried to mess things up. Great job! I am already looking forward to 2006.

Kent

Hey Kent- seein's how you're one'a the 'green guys'... perhaps you can figure out who might the young man on the big Deere in the last photo be...

Description: 4' tall, light-brown hair, can't reach the pedals, death-grip on the wheel, probably weighs 70lbs tops, but has about a 350lb smile...

I'll bet his folks would like a copy of this pic- it turned out great...

If not, copy-repost it to the WFM groups, and have the according relative drop me an Email ([email protected]) and I'll forward the high-res photo to 'em!

DK :)

BTW- I don't have names for the guys on the red tractors I posted... as well as the feller on the Green Husky (boy, that tractor was LOUD)...

Fess-up, so I can label these photos properly!!!

Thanks to the Bluniers for a great Plow Day! It's always fun to see folks and BS. I spent too much time plowing and not enough visiting. Bubba even had to chase us out of the field for the drawings.

Thanks to those that donated prizes. Since I never seem to win anything, I could hardly believe that my numbers had been called. First number in the raffle and second in the door prizes. I should have bought Illinios and Iowa lottery tickets on the way home.

Hi Dave K. That would be Bill Riley's 6 year old son. Bill had that 332 diesel and weights, but no plow, so I took along my 3pt Brinly for him to use. Funny thing is I think Bill and his son put more hours on that plow saturday than I have the whole 2 years I have owned it.

On a side note, when I had a friend using my camera to snap some pictures of me plowing, it messed up and he only got one good one

So if any of you guy's happen to have any other pictures of me and my tractor and would want to send me copies of them, I would really appriciate it. My e-mail address is in my profile. Thanks!

Kent

Thanks for all the comments about Plow Day, it was a pleasure to have everyone over, and in spite of the wet ground we had a lot of fun. There were about 125 people registered, and we plowed about 25 acres.

BTW, you guys are getting much better at plowing!!!!! The lands were closed up very cleanly with only 2-3 passes required to close the dead furrow...great work!!!!

Better late than never, busy, busy, busy. More as I get time.
