Is anyone interested in my 125 before I list it on ebay? I was hoping to sell it to someone on here since I know you guys would appreciate it. If you are the pics are in the for sale area or email me and I can send them to you..

Thanks
John Chrest

How about that primer IH used on the cast iron parts? (I just got speghetti sauce on my keyboard) The front axle and rearend. That stuff is tuff!!

I could be wrong but I think more than a few IH parts were poured (molded) ,that made them poruse and needed a sealer to be used on rear ends> so the red cover of the axel and rear end have a hight content colour sealer. Just sand them if you must to smothen them out or not.prime, wash, paint.

KenTUCK - I must have missed the part on connecting the Governor spring. 1st I saw Gary's post was when he was attempting to install the engine mount bolts in a "cocked" position. Guess you must have been over the cable stuff then. I'm leaning towards drive shaft install problem now - but for the life of me I still haven't figured out if his engine is running about 34-3600 rpms at full throttle or he's just getting slightly above idle - questions, questions, questions,

HH - It might not have been Gary ... there was one more member with a slow running engine around about the same time but you know how Charlie's CRS spreads !

Back on 06/06 I asked if anyone knew what this seat came off of.

I thought it was from a farm store but one of you said it looked like it was a Massey seat. Today I slapped paint remover on the seat, then pressure washed it to clean it up. It had been repainted and I didn't know it but look what I uncovered.

No prize but you can bragg about being correct!
I like the "for your comfort and health"
It is a comfortable seat!

Would I have to use a bonding agent in the new primer if I didn't sand the old? Would it be ok to wipe it down with solvent to make the existing paint/primer tacky. I want to make sure the new paint has a good bond. If this is ok what solvent should I use?
