Doug A wrote"All new parts. I pulled the float bowl off and gently raised the float and the fuel shut off. Scratchin' my head. Gotta be missing something."

If you did indeed stop the flow manually. And after using 3 floats, the sentence above tells me it's the valve or seat. See what you can find with the magnifying glass in those areas.

Doug A.

I think the guys are right. The needle valve and seat can do this. Even a little push of the finger could be much more closing pressure then the float would do on it's own.

But I might add. Since this has happen after several attempts, check your fuel supply is there dirt in the line after the filter? Dirt, dust or lint in your work area?

AS stated if the float was heavy you would feel the fuel splash around in side. Unlikely to have several floats, all bad.

A question for you, did you or someone add a fuel pump to this tractor? If so could be running to high of a pressure.

Good luck.

Bill

It's a 122 with the original glass sediment bowl and steel line. Everything has been cleaned. Don't know if I'll have time to mess with it today but I will keep everyone informed.

Thanks Allen S. I saw that But the pattern of the spades are not evenly spaced and I could not make out the pattern since you can't blow it up. Wanted to be sure. I'll order it today. Needed some other items as it will save some shipping. Thanks again

Doug,

Try setting the float higher from the body of the carb,And let us know how it works.
