    Keith,loosen the gov arm ,hold the arm to the leftor ccw turn the shaft to the left or ccw .re tighten ,and you should be fine

    David ,welding matts are a must,if your at the machine a long time ,how ever hot chips burn into matts ,and are hard to get out ,hope this helps .

    George L,tap the nut to the left a thread or so ,till you get to threads ,the bent end looks i little low ,it should clear when you move to the left looking at the photo

    Austin E i understand ,if you w/o tools its a problem .so did you remove the ridge from the bore / if so do you have a feeler gauge ,and if you do run the gauge down the bore 90 from the piston pin and that should tell you how much clearance you have ,at the top of the bore ,but you still need...

    Joe Z.i just repaired a clutch for a guy that had the same problem ,.what he did wrong was install the cross brace for the clutch on the wrong side of the frame ,should go on the bottom side ,,not sure if this helps ,

    Digger ,i have seen two cubs with the timing hole with a plug in them ,might be a good idea to place a plug in the hole ,to force more air over the head ,along with the holes in the sheet metal ober the head ,
