You can buy an inductive RPM meter.. But just adjust the screw until it runs low RPM without fear of stalling. "Wing-it"
We are talking about the small headed screw without a spring on it.

Now, will it not leak thru the carb when left overnight? Will it start again

I'm getting in the habit of turning the gas off on all my old tractors now when done using them. So the only gas that can leak would be what is in the carb, line, and the sediment bowl on bottom of tank. Now that I have a tap that shuts off again! Worked good tonight, fired up after about 5 cranks. Needed to remove the snow that come down off the roof of the garage before it froze again.

Hmmm... all my adjusting screws have springs on them? Trick response? :fencing::help:

Two brass screws thare vertical are Main Jet (very top of carb) low idle jet (vertical or slightly angled) horizontal one that , might be phillips head is Idle Speed.
Glad its running.
