Upgrade NowThank you very much for your reply. Yes, I have since mounted the snow thrower. It is functioning properly other than I cannot lift the plow up off the ground, using the lever that extends to the seat. I am able to lift it from the front manually, so it seems like it would function, but the lever isn’t doing the job. I do not know what the problem isin the picture, the snow thrower is not mounted to the Cub Cadet. is that indeed still the case?
if so, the lift lever would have no fulcrum by which to gain mechanical leverage to lift the thrower.
i believe the thrower must first be mounted to the tractor.
someone in this community will know how to quickly access the Cub Cadet manual that describes the thrower mounting steps for your machine.
I’m not sure model mine is. I will take a look and get back to you. When I pull the trigger at the handle that pulls on the cable, the pin that is shown in the photo does pull out of a hole, which then allows me to pull the lever back freely in the slot that you can see in the photo, but it does nothing to the plow. It almost seems as though it should lock in some position and lift it? Your feedback is much appreciated. There were two models for the 2135, which is yours? Does the lift index rod where the lift cable attaches to move?
