So...no spark after getting everything back together.
Spark plug out grounded on steel cranking over. Proper way to diagnose? Everything is new on it other than the regulator and plug.

Have over 12 volts on + side of coil....so I am assuming it is a timing issue?
Took points cover off and the points are not moving at all.
Best source to check timing without a light? Searching for timing marks on flywheel now.

Only mark I can find on flywheel so far. So is the S considered top dead centre? So the points would be closed now, right?

Tried to set points, found T on fly wheel now. The pin that moves the points in and out, I find it doesn't move much? My light wrapped out so need to try it again with another light so I can see better. I tried to set the best I could but still no spark. So either plug or wire is no good or ????
Could yhe condenser be bad? It was new from dealer. Get continuity in the points. Tried setting from I save tractor video steps.???
