Welcome! That 70 looks like it’s in good shape. Judging from the gearbox and chute rod support it has a Snowthrower. Did you get that and a deck with the purchase?

Welcome from WNY. Looks like someone had their way with some custom paint on your 70, can't lie I kinda like what they did to the top of the hood, though they shoulda left the hood ornament chrome. I myself have a 70 that someone had their way with some custom paint

Then I fixed it by removing it and deciding to add my own custom paint

*plus a nice correction of the hood ornament issue!
 
I also added the float clip to the lift lever, and used a proper acorn nut to secure the steering wheel, if we're getting into to the tiny details
