Looks like this is the weekend to get the tractors ready for PD so that all I have to do is "hook and go" when I get home from work next Friday.

Work schedule changed my plans from having the day on vacation to having to work OT but that is ok by me

Again, if you're planning on stopping in Fri night for some food, please email me and let me know. I've only gotten a couple responses, and I want to have enogh food. Hugh was originally going to fry a couple turkeys, but his schedule cuts the time pretty close, so we decided to stick with something simple. Thanks

Right now, the forecast looks pretty good for next weekend. The ground is almost perfect right now, so we'll see.

Looks like I will be there for plow day. I will be bringing my brother-in-law along to run one of my cubs. Please give the newbie a hand if he needs it but I should have everything ready to go for him. He may be a little slow at first but I know he will catch on real quick. I got him hooked last summer when I put him on the seat of the 1650 to try to shine up a plow I bought. It was the first time he drove a cub and now he calls my cubs his toys. I know he will be looking for one as soon as he finds a job since getting through his cancer problems. I hope to see you all there next Saturday. The old S-15 should make it there again.

Man, I wish we'd have moved plow day up a week and had it today!!!! It was perfect weather to have one!!

Burned my ditch off today, and had to call the fire dept. Kindof embarrasing ;-)

Looks like we got about 25 people for night plowing. I think we'll eat some chow here in the parking area, then head out to the field as it gets dark. Please keep in mind that lighting will be your own responsibility!! I'll have some lighting for the pit area. You'll also have to use caution when plowing at night!!

...and a little rain early in the week just means nice slabs off of the moldboards....not that dry crumbly crap.....looks like a good time in the making!!!!!!

Casting call for your Cub Cadet tractor to appear in my next Cub Cadet book. Bring your mint original condition tractor or mint restored tractor to the Iowa Plow day to be photographed. All participants will be compensated. Email me if you have questions, or wish to participate.

Trailer's loaded and backed in the garage, so if it rains tomorrow night I can tie everything down in the dry!!!!!

Tom,

Did you see the 1/2 scale Case pull the sled at Penfield......little guy just walked it right out all nice and quiet!!!

Tom, guess I'll have to turn the screw a little more. At some point that thing's going to wish I never owned it
