I'm replacing the cone bearings in the spindles on a 325 (52") deck. Is there a specific end play for this setup? I just replaced several cone bearing sets on my '37 Allis Chalmers WC, and the manual indicated .003" end play set by adding shims as needed.
I don't have a service manual for the deck.
The Allis bearings were on the steering shafts and PTO. The PTO runs @ 600 rpm, not the 3000 that the mower deck runs.

Sorry for the delay. My post reply alert emails aren't happening.

I haven't received the bearings yet, but they're coming from Partstree.com. Their exploded diagram for the deck spindle assembly shows the cone bearing number to be 941-3028 (replaces 741-3028). It's item #12.

I didn't know the manual number, but a google search says that's it.
