Take it off and look into the intake (air cleaner side).
There should be a part #26 cast into the upper inside surface.
The 127's were equipped with a (Kohler) #KH-47-853-22 carb
You need Carb KIt #KH-25-757-01
Available from many sources, check with CCS up top, I know he would have one.
be sure to check the float when you get it apart to make sure it does indeed float!
If it seems unusually heavy, shake it and listen for gas or hopefully not, water sloshing around inside indicating a leak.
In which case you will have to replace or repair it.
Floats and other carb parts are also available from CSS up top here in the sponsors ad ribbon.

So I got the carburetor off my I didn't see a #26 cast into the inside surface. The only identity numbers i could find are seen in the images. I imagine this is a kohler 301a carburetor because the gaskets look similar to a rebuild video i watched. Also I'm wondering if anyone can tell me what size of 90 degree fuel elbow i need to replace the one i have? Also should I replace the gaskets that seal the carburetor against the engine and against the air cleaner.
That's the correct original elbow, reuse it

Carburetor to engine gasket...if original is hard as a brick or torn..absolutely replace.
Why are you wanting to replace the elbow? I heard that on some new aftermarket Carbs the threads are metric. Is that your issue?

I want to replace the elbow because it might be the source of my fuel leak. I want to eliminate that possibility.

Makes sense.
Since the carburetor if off and easy to play with. You can screw in Elbow to cab hold the float up so the needle valve is closing off the inlet into the bowl. Then put gas in the elbow and watch for weeping. Maybe add gas line to the elbow so you can get more gas trying to push. Tie a piece of toilet paper where the elbow threads into carb. Let it sit and see if toilet paper absorbs fuel.
