Travis,

Show off......I've got cracks in my yard so deep you could throw a VW in there. Had a hole open at work the other day, 8 feet deep in a ditch line that drains at least 120 acres and the bottom of the hole was just starting to get "sticky" but not at all wet........down to 4 or 5 feet what didn't break off in huge boulders turned instantly into crumbles........yup, Central IL is DRY!!!!

Jerry,

Never have seen a 1470, unless you count the literature pics

All of the 14 series look squatty with 28L tires...the later machines with the 24.5 and 30.5 rubber look much more commanding.

Hey all,

Just wandering if anyone is going to the Fall Harvest Days in Union Grove, WI this weekend the 16-18. Usually some nice stuff this year. They are featuring Allis this year. Not going to be taking anything but will be up there Saturday afternoon.

Kevin D. -

Don't know 'bout anyone else, but I'll be busy getting ready for the Lake County Farm Heritage show the following weekend, 9/24-25.

Steve, will have to see what I can do. I think the dealer in toun has one right now. Lot of wear on it last I saw it. Funny about the tires too. they all have the large set tires or duels. Four wheel drive seems to be a rage as well

Bryan,

I still have most of my stuff ready from what should have been parade over the weekend. So I don't have to do too much to get ready for Lake County

The Plow day 10 page is done. Please go to www.plowday.net for onfo and to register. Please register so we can get a head count for food. Give me a shout if you have questions or I've fubared.
Thanks to Charlie.
Gus

KEVIN D. - My Buddy is coming up from Moline to go to Union Grove this weekend. Even though He works for JD He collects Allis. D-12 Industrial loader/backhoe, D-14, one D-17 gas, four D-17 diesels, 210, & 5020 compact diesel. He's looking for a D-19 diesel too. There's a D-19 gas about 2 miles from C&G in Brooklyn We may have to check out though. To keep this O/T He did a really nice refurbish on a CC 107 of His grandfathers about 20 yrs ago.

Since Fall season is fast approaching, does anyone have some pics. of their cub set-up with a grass/leaf collection system.

I found one for sale but I would need to modify it to fit on the cub, it is currently on an old bolens.

Thank you,
