I finally picked up an electric lift for the 106! The only problem is now I'm trying to find the rockshaft (or fab one) a wiring harness for it and the mounts and switch. I have found the switch on one of the sponser links but have not been able to locate any of the other things. Would it be just as easy to fab the mount and foot guard, and rockshaft. I think the rockshaft would be pretty simple as I have one for the manual lift to work from and to look at, but I'm not so sure about the foot guard and mount.

I gotta quit coming here! Kevin Sanders is practically giving away a decent looking 123 (by local standards) and here I am with a 123 fetish and 1400 miles away. My counseler says the 123 fetish comes from that being as far as I can count.

James S,,, Will let you know. It is driving me nuts trying to find it. Thanks. the turnbuckle is already turned all the way in and it needs a bunch more.

Jerry...can you post a couple pix of you're clutch and the lever that goes down to the frame ? On my 102, even with the button on the clutch and button on the lever pretty much wore to nothing it would still release. Of course it's all fixed now ;)
I'm thinkin maybe the lever that presses the clutch may be bent, but without pix...

Brenden,

Jerry's clutch lever isn't bent, we looked at that. I still think it's what was suggested earlier. The coil pin is partially sheared. Also, the pin in the bottom of the clutch handle is really wobbly and allows for a lot of movement of the clutch lever.

Jerry, instead of taking a hammer and pounding that arm towards the back of the tractor, take a cresent wrench and see if it will move some. There was a little nub of pin still sticking up, you might be able to grab that with some vise grips and twist it. If it will twist see if the bottom of the pin moves too.

BTW Jerry, I didn't think to ask if you had the springs for the snowthrower. The ones that help support the main unit. Since your 100 has hydrolic lift, your FIL may have removed them at some time. Just thought I'd check before looking for replacements.

While I am at it does anyone have the scoop on getting the pto handle apart? Don't really want to damage anything. Keith, don't worry the hammer is staying in it's box. The lever that pushes the pto button seems to work the three fingers just fine. That pin in the rod through the pedistal seems to make sense.

Charlie,
Does the lift handle and PTO handle come apart the same way?
Jerry was asking about the PTO handle.

Just couldn't believe that they would do it the same way. Will find out after work.
