Trying to catch up on reading here. Since that dang brown recluse bit me last month, I just haven't been feeling top of the world. Seems like more "sick days" than good ones.

Tyler S. Matt G. is correct about shimming the implement relief and not the charge spring. AND you really should use a separate hydraulic pump for the log splitter. Go by what the Sunstrand Manual says. I do know what the upper limit is before you literally blowup the charge pump however I'll never post it on here simply because someone will do it and blow their 15U up. They make hydraulic pumps that will work much better for your log splitter than the 15U systems will.

Running late so I need to leave for work. Everyone have a beautiful autumn day.

OMG you are still around ! I thought you left with kentuck ! Glad to see you are still kicking and will be nice to see you post here again.

Scott Tanner... 149 showing signs of life!!!

You were not the first and you won`t be the last guy to forget to lift the brake lever before you slide the rear end into the frame.BTDT myself. I hope you used some thread locker on your studs ? LOL I`am sure you did, I have seen post on here for studs as a replacement for the stock wheel bolts and have did that to a few of my tractors, but you won`t have the space for a long bolt with the brake disk so close.I don`t mind changing tires now with the bolts,I really hated chasing the wheel all around to get the holes to align

. I`am up early to get a few pieces of steel for the cylinder install on my Cub trailer. I need to get two pieces of 1" x 3" flat iron for brackets to attach the cylinder for the dump. Might be some pictures later if I can get the steel I want.

SCOTT - Most people I see install wheel studs just thread hex cap screws in from the back side of the wheel flange, drop of red Lock-Tight on the last few threads & under the head holds it secure.

Looks like there would probably be interference with the brake rotor on an external brake rearend. Might have to use a slightly modified socket head cap screw. Grind the head shorter & chamfer it some.

Terry B gets the prize... That cotter pin was a PITA to remove and replace... But we're good to go..

Charlie, Those are my "Man-Slippers" for short escapes to the garage... I had steel-toes on for the photo op...

Dennis,
Since I am spacing the wheels out, I needed longer bolts, and thus would not fit through the back, hence the studs... I cut 5 heads off, 5 to go (grade 8 + slow cutting)

Steering gear goes in next...

In the "look what followed me home" category.

I traded a JD rear engine rider for this. The owner used this to drive to town and back (he has no driver's license due to multiple DUIs). On one of his trips into town, he drove it off into a hole or ditch (yeah, he was drunk) and busted the steering. I got it home and sprayed some starting fluid into the carb and it started. The carb needs a major cleaning and the metal fuel line is leaking. I tried to put it into gear, got first and reverse, but now it's stuck in second. It might be a donor tractor anyways - I can used the engine in a 123 that I have or a wide frame I may trade for.

Art - NICE!

I've been slowly trying to get a 125 put back together, see the 1st 2 pics. I took this all apart and trying to put it back to gether I've run into issues with almost every possible thing. After thinking I had the steering taken care of I found it still did not work so I check the steering on the custom hydro lift 125 to be in good condition, this is the 125 in the last picture.

I picked these up 2 years ago, this 125 was in the weeds without a hood on it, and it sat outside for the past 2 years just like you see it, no hood. Well I took the custom hydro lift off, then I thought just maybe I could try to get the engine running. Well after a carb cleaning and new spark plug it fired right up. No smoke, idles nice, amazing. I put different front tires on and 1 different rear and then took it for a nice drive !!!

I thought I'd check to see if the hydro would slow down while climbing a hill so I drove it down the hill in the weeds at the back of my lot, then as I turned around the one rear tire decided to loose all it's air and started to come off the rim. I limped it back to my shed, tonight I'll install ags and get it more ready for plow day this Saturday!

Now I just need the reverse to work, it goes forward fine - no reverse yet.

My wife and I went to a tractor show in Philpot, KY on Saturday. Got to see a lot of familiar faces. We took the Mini-H and Mini-560. There was a 560 there with only 14.3 hours on it.

Maybe some of you have seen it at other shows, but it was a first for me. The guy said he bought it from a dealer when the dealer passed away. It only had one hour on it when he purchased it. I couldn't resist getting a picture with my Mini.

I know some of you have a belly mounted blade.
I used one this week end only it was on a Sears.
eww.gif

I was home made but it worked great for leveling out some dirt.
Does anyone have some good pics of a belly mount blade or plans to make one? Or maybe I'll go to the wanted section.

Thanks.
