In the Classifieds, Bruce Carl is/was looking for a dash tower for a 102, 122. I'm thinking of one for a 123. Question: Wouldn't a 123 tower be a 102/122 tower with a hole for the hydro lever, or a 102/122 tower be a 123 tower with the hole plugged?

I looked at a 123 dash tower and it appeared to be the same as the 102/122, except for the hole for the hydro lever. But I'd like to get as close to the original as possible.

I do know the 71 dash tower won't work. Narrow base to mount to the frame.

Morning all. Nova Scotia had the first snow fall this winter. I moved Cubs and there all under cover and dry. Had to go out in the dodge ram D and pick up my daughter at 4.30 am at the store she works . it was a lot of wind and blowing snow. The weight of the diesel and 4x4 with 500 lbs in the box was great for knee deep snow. Now i have to blow all that snow out of the drive after i get some gas ( i thought i forgot something0 lol

I am looking for help ID'ing a tractor near me. I have a photo, and the owners desc does not seem to match. Would I need to post the photo and questions in the "For Sale" section?

First off I am not an expert on these so the owner may be right, but he did not seem certain of anything. First it was a 14hp then a 12 hp
I was thinking that this might be a 1250?
The owner says it has a 12 HP B/S and is a hydro
Would a 1250 have a Kohler?

The only way it would have a B&S is if someone switched engines.
1250's with hydraulic lift are rather hard to find in my neck of the woods.
A serial number and a check of the engine tag will confirm or deny any and all concerns.
If it's cheap enough, who cares what it is or has in it.

Not sure about a hydraulic lift, hydro drive he said, or do all of the hydro's have the hydraulic lift, I know that my 149 does have one

The tractor you posted a pic of has hydraulic lift.
And no, not all hydros have hydraulic lift. The 129 didn't come that way and the 169 could have or not.

Kraig, here is a pic of that cub at my uncles, I asked him about it today and he did alot of grumpin about it but I'm going to have my mom work on him for me! 1720 Hydro

It has a broken rear axle and he doesnt know where to get parts for it. It's been sitting there for about 5 or 6 years now, says it still runs.

well i finally figured out my model number on my 100 there was sloppy paint work covering the final digit of the S/N its 123338 which if my logic is correct that means it was built in late june of 65...i think?..... im proud of myself!

oh i forgot besides sandpaper and elbow grease is there any good way to strip parts without using stripper or sand blasting??

Well it's a Kohler. And it will be a vertical shaft engine, so you'll have to have a machine that will handle that setup.

anybody know about how much a transmission from a 70/100 would be worth, i think im getting a parts tractor and will part it out when im done
