Matt D - The 100 is looking great. I really like that lift it's on. Looks like a real back saver.

Ken,

No, no, shooting primer tomorrow and then actual paint later this week. After the money I've invested in this, if I gave up now the only thing being shot would be me by the little missus.

Matt is that a homemade lift or purchased from somewhere? That certainly looks like a time and back saver.

Matt, nice 100, but how about a picture of the lift?

My Cub Cadet 122 slips in the front pto clutch.
I have read FAQ about removing set screws. Are there any pictures anywhere of what it looks like taking it apart. I assume I need a new disk. What would make it not engage well enough to run the mower.
Any help would be appreciated.

Had a chance this weekend to get the exhaust in the upright position and the deck off.

On Saturday, I was doing some "fast" landscaping with my 125. It is my first cub. Others have mentioned that it travels very fast. My recent acquisition 147's top speed feels like about 1/3 the top speed of my 125. (I didn't do any actual speed tests though.) The 125 goes so fast that in corners on flat ground, I have had a rear wheel off the ground (dangerous!)- you have to lean. I have had it plowing and pulling stuff, and it handles that pretty well.

Why is my 125 so fast? (The engine does not seem to over rev.) I don't think my 147 is slow. Perhaps Terry, who posts here a lot, who saw it in action, can comment on how fast it was going.
