Nate,

In that 3rd picture you son looks so focused on his line. He will be ready for cultivatiing in no time at all.

My neice and twin nephews(3, 1.5yrs) are in awe when they come down to visit of my 'big' tractors. My neice loved her ride last Dec. Boys are too little per my sister. Neice prefers 1200 "Cause its like a truck with the snow thingy!" Had the blade on. Wonderful pic Nate!

Nate B. Real cute pictures and nice to see another generation of Cub Cadet collectors growing up.

Question. Are the grease zerks on the Original front wheel rims the pull out and push in another type? If so what is a good way to remove the old one without damaging the hole? TIA

I love seeing the O's still working!
Bartered for this Original from Mike Masheris and put it right to work.
She's a little worn, but actual did an amazing job.
Get ready to build two O's at the same time.
Here is my 12 year old learning some old school.

Last night I posted a Wanted ad and within 10 hours I had the first of three replies. Without this forum I wouldn't have known where to start looking for the item. Thanks again, Charlie, for keeping this site going and providing a great network of support for our addiction!

Thanks for the nice comments guys!

Bill- it's funny you say that. Dad had me cultivating corn by myself at about 10 years old. He's got a few more years to practice being he's four.

Wayne- he does. Don't let the sun fool you, it froze the night before!

Marlin- hopefully my boys keep interested in this old iron, I think the zerks are the push in type. I just pull them out with a pliers, if they break off drill them out.

I like it. Plus rebuilding two Originals at once should be fun.

Nate B. Thank You for the tip. This old brain is starting to forget some things.

I'm slowly making progress on the Original for a friend's child. Between wet/rainy weekends and work... progress has been slow.

I do agree with this being THE BEST FORUM... so user friendly.

BTW... Charlie P. Do you still have the free Originals up at Park Rapids?

Marlin on the broken grease zerk I usually just remove the spindle, then drive the reminder on through the hole to remove.
