Poor frog. I'd sit there motionless too if my butt was stuck to the ice.

Nice 169. Hydro lift already installed and everything. Does a deck fit under there with them tiny front tires?

The question was asked what I did to fix the 40 Box blade angle problem.
I had Aaron Schmidt from Xtreme Motorworks make me one of his Xtreme hitch brackets with an extra lower hole.

I removed the old one,

Installed the new one,

And it brought everything right into place. As you can see from the dirt on the side, we had to try it out yesterday, and it worked perfect.

I really like those Xtreme brackets too. It bolted right up and makes for a really nice strong setup.
Of course I had to have a few others too, for the other stuff.

Keith, on your possible generator set-up. They're saying 20+ hp. If you only have 14 or 16 hp its gonna cut back on output. Also your Cub has to run WOT to spin that thing, if you got close neighbors, they're gonna hate the noise. And last I suspect your gonna eat gas at an amazing rate! Maybe you can find a dead generator with a smaller rating that will work better, or fix it up and let the Cub tow it. JMHO A.

The wife likes the little wheels, but they have gotta go!
The deck already found a place out back in the junk pile.
I'm thinkin maybe a Cat.0 on the back and the Gannon in tow, might make a pretty nice diggin machine.

OH CRAP!
Now there's two of those poor red things out there! how sad is that.

Kendel, I had a great machine shop rebuild my k321. I did use the new style bearings with the new style gears. Everything in this engine has been replaced, from valve guides to even a brand new crankshaft, everything new. And it rattles... I have yet to pull it apart and remove the new balance gears...hmmm, new shafts, bearings and gears. And they still rattle. Wut a bummer

Charlie, re: ice on the bird bath. I looked on a map this morning and figured out you live further north than Don T.! No wonder your cold. Have you visited Santas Workshop yet ?

Dennis:
Apparently Kohler did agree that there was a problem, and made a change... I'd still like to hear from somebody with an engine serial # higher than 9641311, taken care of properly, that had it shell the balance gears....
Timothy:
If it rattles and you spent good money on it, take it back...
Kraig:
ANother good one ... TANSTAAFL...

Geez, I broke it again.......twice in 24 hours

I have one buried in my storage building somewhere. I had plans of using a spare QA mule drive to bolt it to then I can use that on the front of the 73 for my bigger stuff when making trips to the woods. I really need to dig it out.
Now if I just had the original contents of that one...
