On Tuesday of last week I had the opportunity to buy an IH Cub Cadet Sand Trap Rake. Just got it home today and very eager to get it mounted up. Just sent pics to Charlie so hopefully he can post them for me please. Main questions...

Does anybody own one, or does anyone know who owns one?

Also, what kind of information is out there on these. My research shows not much at all for info. Were they a flop, or just not many built/bought?

Farmington Implement has a video with a 7-10 min segment on the sand trap rake. Shows lots of closeups etc. Worth getting if you own a rake....

Yea right, LOL
That Donate button above has brought in $35.00 in the last 3 months, and I thank the guys that did that.

That helps towards the $500.00 per quarter it cost to keep this place on a dedicated private server so it never goes down!

Ryan, I own one of the sand trap rakes. But I don't own any sand traps so I haven't gotten much use out of it.

Scott, like you, I own no golf courses and certainly no sand traps. Mainly bought it for the cool factor.

Can anyone point me in the right direction on the "correct" belt for my pto?

tractor is a 108 2050043U455567
deck is 382U1113

Cant seem to figure the correct from all the others. I don't have the original to measure.

John L., there are belt charts in the CUB FAQ Looks like it should be part number: IH-490489-R2.

Hey guys I having some confusion in diagnosing a starter problem.
When I got my 107 it was wired with an ignition switch at the key location
and a starter button in the spot where the electric lift button would go.
Started it up, it sounded a little odd, when to shut it off, the engine stopped
but the starter was still running, un hooked the battery and it stopped.
Figured it must be the solenoid, to test it, I took the heavy cable off the
starter and connected the battery, pressed the starter button, and to my surprise
heard a very healthy click of the solenoid. So the starter button is clicking the
solenoid and the ignition switch turns everything on/off, but the starter still runs.
Clearly I’m missing something.
Thoughts?
Thanks,
Frank

Hey guys...my mower blade timing belt let go on my original... was able to match up the belt and get one, but I need a new set of blades..they're booger'd up pretty good...I can order them through my local cub cadet dealer but I'm looking for a cheaper option....any suggestions?

Sorry, I can get a pair here in town for the price of one of those ..withouth paying shipping.. Thanks though.

Frank Wardly check for a stuck contact in the voltage regulator. It will make the starter motor run with the switch off.

Jason S.
I'd like to know where your gonna buy them for that price, cause I'll quit buying them from Cub Cadet,
