A lot of the time, or so I have found, is that a lot of the C/L links go nowhere as the stuff is long gone.

But, on the other hand,I have landed some darn good deals on Cub stuff, sometimes, 1/2 way across the country!
 
How do you properly "polarize" a S/G and or Voltage Regulator on an Original?

If I understand correctly, Cross V/R Batt wire to Amp side of S/G with a jumper wire..
 
Anybody know how to identify which wire is which on this vintage beauty V/R ??

It will self-polarize the first time you try to start the tractor. (If you have it hooked up correctly.)

Kraig, could get any of Charlies videos to play?? My tablet says video format not supported, my main PC says to down load the file, which is now somewhere in my 'puter, but not where I expected to find it.

I bought some sae 30 weight oil for my original is that ok to use?
 
Is any one else having download issues here?

The downloads stops and if I restart multiple times it will eventually get to 100%. The larger the down load the more restarts required, I get about 1M per at a time. This happens on my desk top,lap top and tablet does nothing.
 
Hi everyone,

It has been a LONG time since I have posted, but I have been REALLY busy the last couple of years. I graduated college, and my family and I finished our move to West Virginia in Nov 2015. I will share some pics in the sandbox when I snap some. I have been checking in from time to time, so I haven't completely disappeared.

Anyways, it seems that we moved into a patch of gremlins down here, as this happened to my 108:

This happened as a result of trying to take it somewhere I (in hindsight) shouldn't have:

It snapped the left front spindle. Tire went flying off over the hill. We (Dad and I) had to use the come-along to get it out of the crick. It took about 4 hours to get it out. We let it sit overnight, and we came back the next morning and rigged up a way to get it home. Put a new battery in it (busted that too), checked everything over, engine spun over twice and fired right up.

You are probably wondering what I was doing up there? I was going after this:

Mostly Poplar, but still good firewood. I already replaced the spindle, and ordered a set of NOS tail lights for it. Now I just need to replace the fender pan. Seeing what this thing went through, I am definitely going to restore it now. Any other tractor would have been toast, but the fall didn't even phase this thing. Even my electrical system remained intact!

Charlie and Kraig, I apologize if this post is off topic and/or too long, but I just wanted to say hi to everyone, and let you all know what I've been up too. I will post some more pics in the sandbox, so we can stay on topic here. Thanks!
