Kraig, Roland,
The switch IH used on the recoil start tractors only had one terminal, and the kill wire from the mag connected to it. The path to ground to kill the mag was thru the case of the switch when the switch was in the "off" position. When it was "on", the path to ground was open.

Charlie, Kraig, etc...

Do any of yall own or have good pics of a front carrier? I'm talking about the one that folds up and protects the grill. I see one in one of the URLs Charlie just posted for Roger but it's a bad pic.

Thanks in advance!

Wayne

Matt,

The QA-xxA throwers are the only ones that will directly fit a WF with no modifications.

The H42 and H48 (H for Haban), were made for the IH 82 series and should fit, but the drive pulley is 5/8 and would need to be changed. The lift linkage(s) also might be a issue.

The newer CC Corp 450 and 451 might fit, but even more modifcations might be needed.

Frank C - You're right about having enough Cubs so you don't have to change attachments/implements. I remember seeing a comment on this site when I first joined the forum, and I laughed - thought it was a joke. At the time I only had one Cub (a 782) with mower deck and tiller. Then I started catching "the disease" and got a small box blade, a 10" plow, a front blade...and three more tractors! Now I have four Cubs, and my bride found the fouth one & told me about it! I have my eye on another one that's sitting in a grove on an old farm place in Nebraska, but it'll have to wait until the snow melts! Anyway, the theory of one tractor for each attachment/implement is just plain good sound business practice!

Greg...dont forget some more tractors for parts

Wayne-
Here are a couple photos of the 100 I have with the Brinly "Guard-N-Cart" (repro) on the front. Let me know if you need anymore more "detail" shots.

I got tired of the ads preventing my website from working, so I have now moved it to a new domain that doesn't have ads. I haven't tested everything, but it looks like it's all up and running again on the new domain. The new link is in my signature line, and the old one redirects automatically.

Thanks a bunch Charlie and Aaytay. That looks to be a very useful attachment. I have several mule drives and this looks like a good way to use one.

Aaytay- that 100 with the box blade looks sharp. That's another attachment I plan to build "some day".

Lucas: Congrats! Move that pic of your 122 over here, if you would. There must be a story that goes with it, too? Decent looking machine!

Box blades are neat, but a Gannon is better.

Gannons get super cool on the back of a 169 with a Cat. 0 in between the two.

Don, I found the Original fender support rod, send me an email with your mailing address and I'll mail it to you.

Kraig:
He's already posted it (check the pics he posted yesterday)(I think that was for anyone willing to contribute parts to the O )

Don:
Is that a postal code at the end or a secret message that requires the Green Hornet decoder ring to read???

Kendell, yes I saw that, and had the same thought about parts contributions.

I wanted to be sure I got the address correct, didn't want to misread a word or postal code. I've got his address, the part is all boxed up and ready to be dropped off at my local post office.

Hey, MEIN KUB showed up again!! Kinda' wish I still owned that tractor.

Dennis, That was a 22hp Command in Mein Kub, and ya it did sound like a Harley with the pipes commin' outta' the hood.

Charlie, You're right. The IH #40 scraper box is a nice "toy" but the Gannon is better. The #40 works out well with loose material, but if you hard packed material the Gannon is best for the Cub Cadet. Got one laying around?
