Doug A - if you got a ported pump and hydraulic lift set up complete for $100, I think you got a STEAL!!!!

David Kirk - Back to the RANT again - did MTD buy out TORO yet? If not, I can hardly believe TORO, of all the manufacturers, is actually going to put an engine that doesn't require oil changes, on one/some of their mowers. Rather than be one of the 1st with this I would have expected them to do something like - be the first to put a magnetic drain plug on the engine.

(And by the way, most of those used lawnmowers I purchased had the TNT100 engines. Had to replace a few rope pulls, sometimes the seat in the carb, but that was a good runnin' engine).

Shultzie. Nice video pushing that snow.

Ed C. I'll second the ignition coil as a likely failure.

Dale M. Good looking pair of gear drives. It's amazing how much you can do with these little tractors. My wife would've been out there helping tear the yard up, but no way would she have put up with torn up for three years

Harry B.
If his new camera came with directions, we're gonna have to give Little Donnie Tanner a few days to decipher them!

Hello everybody! Thanks for the ad glad to be apart of the forum. I got a 1250 with qa42a blower I had got and installed before the winter. I use it to primarily clear a path for the dogs to do there thing. But I haven't been really able to use it or toss any snow. Today I messed with the belt tightner and sprayed the belt with belt conditioner and the gear box with dry lube. After that I was able to kinda use it, throwing snow like 3 inches from the side of the blower. What could be my problem? I run a 31 inch belt, thanks again guys!

Jay,
First you should be using a 15/32 x 30" belt and second the gear box is filled with grease and gear oil not dry lube. Pictures always help.

Got a few action shots from the last few weeks. I do have one small problem that I ran into tonight, my adjustment bolt for the belt tension came apart. The threaded rod is in good shape but some how the nut that goes in the slot got nicked up. The thing is a left hand thread so I guess I'll be headed to Edwards for a left handed tap to clean up the hole.

Jay. Just say no to belt dressing and other such voodoo. A belt in good condition and properly tensioned doesn't need anything added to it. A worn loose belt needs replacing.
