Yep, that was on a QL I was parting out back in March, 2000.

Here's a more detailed view...

Some people should just not be allowed around a welder.......or a torch.

...or in this case, a PIPE-WRENCH!

I know this might sound crazy but is there a collection of K301 sounds (mp3, wav) on the internet that can help people a) know what different rpms sound like and b) know what different problems sound like?

Donald,
Glad to hear you are preparing to sling some paint on your cubs. I wish I could, but I'm waiting for the snow to melt and for the rain to stop. My paint booth is a enclosed trailer (2x4 studs with plastic all around). Can't paint in the basement cause the wood stove is going, and I wouldn't want to turn everything yellow! Let me see if I have a pic of the booth....

That's what it looked like when I restored my 128 in October. It pretty much looks the same minus the designer tarp.

New to the forum....and new to Cub Cadets. Lots of great information here - thanks all. My 128 is coming along nicely now that I finally have enough ballast. Lots of snow here on the western slope of Mt. Lassen in N. California.

Donald,
I almost forgot, I took a photo of my cub painting booth this past Saturday. It's just to the left of my house behind the arch with the vines across it.
