I think an epoxy would work fine, maybe even better. There are so many adhesives out there. Hopefully, there won't be a next time.

Kraig thank you as I am have enough trouble just shrinking them.
I really want a 169, they must really push snow compared to my 129

Well I dug out the parts box for the 125 and laid out all the parts for the 12 K and see I have some cleaning and painting to do.I did not find the governor for it and will need that from Charlie. Can we still buy the metal govenors ? I have a new coil and points and a rebuilt carb ready for the 125. I allways forget something

Now I just have to decide what head to use, what would be the differance in these guys ?

DONALD - the one on the right in the pic with the spark plug located over the exh valve is supposed to be the latest & greatest version, kinda depends on where your top heat cooling shroud has the hole for the plug.

But if you have both styles of cooling shrouds I'd run that one.

Don, as Denny mentioned, compare the spark plug holes in the heads to this shroud. Use the head that matches.

Don, also dig out the heat shield that mounts in front of the engine above the muffler. It will also need to have the proper cut out for the spark plug if you use the offset plug location in place of the centered sparkplug. However, it is possible to alter the head shroud and heat shield.

Don, I might have a spare of that shield around the carb. Give me a few days to check for it.
