It came out of the unopened IH box just as you see it. Fuzzy and all, LOL

Digger, I've got one of those IH WindBreaker Cabs, Top and Back Complete on my Cub 122. I've had it on there since the 60's where we use to swap it off and on for summer and winter use. Because the back curtain/window arrangement would get gently to fit into the box and stored in the attic of the garage, there is a slight split in the back curtain window area. Other than that, a fine looking piece! Now that the machine is a dedicated snow machine the swap no longer occurs. Before I store the machine for the spring, I wipe yer down with a leather and vinyl cleaner protectant such as Armorall. I never was happy the way the windbreak fit around the bottom frame area with the provided springs.I think from the factory grommets or maybe a doubling over of the material in that area would have prevented tearing. Seems the forward spring is always being stretched by the steering box"drag link". I know, I know pictures would help. Still haven't figured out that picture posting thing.

Digger-LOL I’m going to be gathering up a list of stuff I need for my double stick rebuild,and that dash tin I think will be in that order for someone as well LOL

Charlie - that sure is strange on the QL headlight assembly. I've never seen washers on the 3 screws holding the grill screen either. Also, it looks like 1 screw is missing from the backside of the IH emblem.

Is there a date on those GE bulbs? Your pic is really fuzzy there.

I'll dig it back out next week. It and a bunch of other stuff already went to the storage trailer for the winter. LOL

I have had 2ea. brand new ones....happened on both by accident......982 Windbreaker, Red, brand new! and a new CCC yellow one for 1811, etc. Found a NOS top and had a back curtain made using a very used one as a pattern.

Traded the red 982 one for the yellow CCC version.....still use it on the Super 782!

Also had a nice 82 series full enclosure, red, with roof and curtain...sold that one.

BTW, 1x8/9, quite line, and 82 series Windbreakers are basically 100% interchangeable, hardly and difference in fit at all.

AND, If you make a strap for under the seat, you can use the seat bolts for the supporting the roof and avoid holes in the fenders!
