Thanks for the Birthday Wishes! Turned another decade today. Plan on a cubbin' weekend. Hope that 400 is treating you well.

Maybe he needs to just "jack them up and drive a new one under them"...........

I forwarded some more 169 data to Art (thanks Todd), and I am sure he will give us an update when he gets time.

Hey Charlie - thanks for posting those PTO pics. I've always told people their PTO can be rebuilt - but I've always assumed it had been working and stopped. I've never seen such a terrible rework job - what ever happened to RTFM? I'd sure like to see/hear what you tell these people. That's probably the real fun part.

Harry,
Thank you sir!

Jeff,
Somedays I sure miss the two 169's I used to have. One is on the list......

Dave,
Holy smokes! Did you BRS into a cement wall?

David - did you have the trip lock engaged? That shouldn't happen if the blade was set to trip and you're speed was r e a s o n a b l e
and you knew the surface of the area was free of obstructions. You need to turn in your Cub keys.

At least your neck is OK - BTDT and had no keys for a week.

Dave,

Glad you lived through it......it's only steel.

I knocked a moldboard clean off a blade once and drove over it with both sets of tires before I got the clutch pushed in!!!!

$-it happens..........

Charlie,
That pic you posted yesterday of the loader. What make is it? Johnson....Quickway?

Looking for a couple boxes to use for wrapping Christmas gifts & the first two I pulled off the shelf were from CC Specialties. One was dated Nov '08 ad the other April '09, with two different return addresses. Makes me think Charlie must be celebrating a 7 year anniversary "up North." And, wow, what a ride he's had! Thanks for hanging in there, Charlie.

LOL,
Those were both back when we didn't have shipping stations, label printers and fancy software to help with cutting addresses and taping them to the boxes!

If we would have stayed in Spring Valley, we dang sure wouldn't have had to go through the fire. I know, cause the house we still have down there is still standing!!!!

I was watching a TV program about early Rolls-Royce autos, and it stated that the early Rolls came with a complete tool kit, but that they never broke down, however they sometimes "fail to procede".........made me think of IH built Cub Cadets. They sometimes fail to procede, and it is usually because of some action of the owner, or PO........
