What's the SAE spec on that CNH grease? Is it 90 weight gear oil?

Speaking of grease, is there any specific type recommended or preferred for use when rebuilding the steering box on my grandson's 1250?

Lip, good to see you post.

Here's what the manual says.

Having some issues with my 1650
symptoms
engine runs great at 1/2 throttle or lower but over 1/2 -full throttle it just has no power spitts and sputters then dies out . This is also a fresh rebuild.

over the last 3 6 months I have totally rebuilt the motor stretched the bore .030 over new piston rod rings and gaskets. { it was tired befor but ran ok}. changed coil, points, condencer, complete valve job 1 new valve 2 new springs and new roators { they were bad}. After all of this the dang thing still runs bad at 1/2 throttle or higher . What am I missing or were should I go next. Thanks

Rob

Rob D. If your engine was rebuilt correctly and and everything is set correctly it would sound like your engine is starving for fuel.

Rich,

I often wonder how many people are out there lurking. Sometimes I forget it's not just us usual (or would that be unusual?) posters here.

Rob, sounds like it's a fuel flow issue where it's starving for fuel at higher rpms. Check your fuel lines and filter. Did you rebuild the carb?

Richard I'm begining to wonder about the builder { not me} as for the fuel I have even tried a different 30 carb off of a nother tractor that I know was good and it still has no change.

For got to mention that I also have a great stream of gas outthe line comming from the tank also
