Charlie-

Can you find more on that heck of a set-up on an original? I'd like to know whether it's articulated or what???

Were do you find these crazy builds???

.

Charlie, yeah, I figured as much but thought I'd ask just in case.

Charlie,

So is the front Original pulling the back one or is the back Original pushing the front one? Given that the back one has the seat and steering wheel, I'm guessing its the latter option.

The Cub Cadet version of the 2+2! Hah!

Anybody actually tried the wooden button?
I don't see how it would last past a few hours.

Whoever butchered those nice cubs should have their tail kicked!

Was chatting with someone the other day about cub cadets that seemed very knowledgeable. We talked a bit about the fabricated decks with the large blade up front and the two smaller outer blades. Was told they were only used on narrow frame tractors but will work on a wide frame with a particular undercarriage. Is this true? If so, what does that under carriage look like?

Not a fan of Charlies pictures he has been posting lately.

Thanks,

Jim S...There was a 38 inch deck of that type available for the Quiet Lines and 82 series. I believe it was the 38C deck.

Jim, here's a 38A deck and undercarriage that was available for the Quiet Line series. EDIT: If you go to the Parts Lookup website you can see the exploded parts views of the 38" deck that was available for the 782 and other models. As Steve S., said, I believe the 38" decks for use with an 82 series would be a 38C with a wider driven pulley and mule drive pulleys.

My 82 series literature specifically lists a 38C deck as available.

They may have also been available for the 1204/6, 1210, 1211 series as well if memory serves me correctly.

Old thread but having pto button issues and this came up. Would like to look in to the broom handle buttons. And I also hate the way people butcher up old cubs.
