I haven't been able to stop in much lately because of the Crap jobs that keep killing my Cub time. For instance the following.... This sucks!
rant.gif
This has got to be the biggest cub killer that I've had to do yet. The idiot that used staples and then decided to staple the plastic skylights in should be shot three times. Once for using staples, then for using plastic skylights and finally for using tar paper that was the consistancy of black ice in January.

Fortunately no one has been hurt so far!!

Set up the cones and the caution tape....I'm going to be here awhile!

Brian, well, at least your roof appears to be a 4/12 pitch or less, easy to work on. Did you use the 122 to haul the bundles to the ladder or did you have them deliver them with a hoist? Did you use the 122 to haul the tear off to a dumpster? IMO, staples should be outlawed for roofing. My roof varies from 12/12, 10.5/12, 8/12 and 4/12 pitch. Did I mention I hate roofing....

I hear ya Kraig. No Cub jobs on this one; shingles delivered, staples, nails and new Cub tires didn't seem like a good idea but that would give me an excuse to build some steel wheels for it....

I don't hate roofing, just the stupid crap that people do to cut corners. The valleys were never flashed not to mention they cut the shingles in instead of weaving them together, box vents and not ridge vent, plastic skylight......and the list continues. Stuff like that drives me insane not to mention takes longer to properly finish when it's not done right the first time.

Ok, enough rant time... Enjoy

Brian, actually I don't hate roofing that much, only when it's threatening to rain and I'm in the middle of the project. I had a good time when my father and I re-roofed the cabin. We brought my #2 125 up to haul the tear off shingles away. And I did actually enjoy roofing my shed and lean-to when I built them but there was no tear off and it was all new material.

Work safe! Looks like you're doing a good job, be sure to post photos of the finished project.

Will do Kraig,

Here is the replacment skylights and the curbs that I built for them this morining. These should do better than the plastic pieces of junk that were used last time. Or at least I hope.

SCHOOL <-- (wat i sometimes feel should happen to school)

Charles, careful what you post about doing to a school. Some may not find any humor in joking about shooting at a school.... Oh, and enjoy school while you can, eventually you'll have to go to work.

oh, i would never mess around with a school, not even spitballs, im just sayin that sometimes i get so fustrated, but i like school. sry 4 the confusion.

Charles, I'm not confused, just cautioning you. I believe you're just joking around but some might not find any humor.

yeah, k, i understand, hey, does anybody know y cubs r yellow & white?

Post that in the main forumn and see what happens. When your done with school work will take the place of cub time. It has happened to me many times. Charles, in my neck of the woods kids have been suspended for even mentioning anything like that, and they were in the 4th grade. I thought that manytimes myself so your not alone. Just some friendly advice. Be diligent(hope I spelled that right) in your efforts and you could have all the cub time you can handle!

Oh, you guys are killing me with this school sucking up time stuff...

You want to see a huge time warp check out the pics I posted. 8 hours in the plant and five or six on the roof. You guys could only be so lucky as to be going back to school.
