I did spray some paint on my 125 front wheels . I found all the front wheel bearings were stuck and rusty. I think they are to light for the job. I guess new bearing will have to be bought soon.Just the fenders and seat pan support to paint an this will be finished and ready for mowing.

Dennis - thanks for the info and I agree on the pucks. Might as well replace them while she's apart. Unfortunately I'm slow to heed the old adage of "if it ain't broke don't fix it" but I like the idea of knowing she's good to go and if indeed something breaks in the future I have a clue as to what went wrong. Painting and reassembling pto's today and looks like they'll be dry by next month with the humidity/rain here in Indianapolis. Thanks again!

Nice pics. Reminds me of when we used the 125 to haul mom/dad's pop up (camper) around the yard when we needed it moved. Did a great job.

I've been busy in the garage today. I have some front wheel weights I found at the resale shop I could not figure out what they fit on so I poured some concrete around them and made weights for the 1650. They weight 30# apiece. Sure was cheaper than buying them. cost me 12 dollars total. And I'm waiting for the paint to dry so I can play with the new attachments a nice forum member sent me. Did not have any yellow so it all got painted white or didn't get painted.

Charlie,

It's 86 degrees here. It was 83 yesterday. The lows at night have been around 60. I'm gonna go play with my 128 in the garden. Hope you are having fun in the sun too!

Marty: I know what you mean. I turned on the Air Conditioning yesterday when I got home from work --living room temperature was 83 degrees Fahrenheit.

If they only made wood-fired AC units, I could get rid of all this firewood.

Seriously, Charlie, I feel almost guilty enjoying the sunshine while you're still snow-bound.

Ok all - Have a running, complete 126 and a nice complete 147. Aside from the gear vs hydro issue which do I keep. I know they didn't make many of the 126s but not many folks really don't seem to care much. Anyway, I need an opinion if anyone would care to offer one. Oh, other tractors are gear and had initially thought it would be nice to have the hydro for mowing and such. Thanks

Terry: I have an opinion and it's honest and sincere. Keep them both. The long version of that short answer is "Keep them both and DON'T buy any more (for a period of time that you choose"). Seriously. Of all the ones I have here, and I know I should/haveto sell at least one, I still check ads daily for another one. The 126 and 147 are both desireable. What I'm trying to say is if sell one, I'll still be looking for another (and a 126 is on my hit list)(and a 147 because I sold one and wonder if the guy still has it and might want to get rid of it). Should've stuck with the short answer.
