Seriously, I'll bet a bunch of us well north of the Mason-Dixon line would like more info on that upgrade.

Thomas B., you mention it has a good battery, and the charge indicator does not show that it is charging? To help us diagnose, can you take a few measurements? What voltage is the battery, when measured at the terminals, when the tractor is off? What voltage does the battery have when the tractor is running at idle? What voltage does the battery have at full throttle?

Philip, welcome!

Sounds like you may have a sticking exhaust valve. Could also be the a leak in the exhaust blowing hot exhaust gas on the carb causing vapor lock. Could be a bad new condenser. Is the vent in the fuel tank cap plugged?

Tim D., where were you measuring that 25-35volts? Hope that wasn't getting to the battery for any length of time.
