Hi, I have been rebuilding my 1450 and have drained the trans fluid out to repair a seal for the brakes and do a fluid change. It has spent a couple months or more drained (but sealed) and now I want to do the refill. Is there a particular way I should do this other than the obvious way of filling through the rear plug? Anything to do to avoid air, running dry or need of "priming" until the pump builds pressure or is it OK to fill and start it and go?

Fill till it runs out and let'r eat! Nothing else to do.
