Been away from the forum for awhile, but I've been keeping somewhat up to date. Does anyone have any pictures or any ideas for front suitcase weights for a 147? I'm looking for something that will work with the mower deck and mule drive on. I am loosing my steering on the inclines. Thanks, Greg- gpapa

Happy Veterans Day! Hope there is no limit on the # of questions. I am redoing a cast iron deck. The spindle assembly, where the blades bolt onto - is it supposed to be solid, or is the shaft supposed to rotate separate from the cup? Also, where can I get replacement friction washers that...- gpapa

Another mower question. What size carriage bolts hold the end caps onto the main deck frame on a 38" cast iron mower deck? The parts lookup doesn't reference these bolts. Unless I'm missing it. THANKS- gpapa

Running problem on my 147. When under load at high throtle, the engine surges - I can see the governor arm moving back and forth. This occurs when going up inclines and increasing speed. Any suggestions? Thanks- gpapa

2nd ? of the day. Helping a friend. CC100 was running, just died now no spark. 12 Volts to the A terminal on the S/G, 3-4 Ohms on the coil. Points are opening and closing. Any suggestions? THANK YOU!- gpapa

Well, here's one I could use some help on. On a cast iron mower deck does the outside part of the bearing assembly need to be smooth? This is the surface that is covered by the blade spindle on the underside of the deck. Thanks.- gpapa
