. I've seen some snow throwers in your neck of the woods but can't really see how to get them to me. That did some traveling to get to you. What's the secret?

Great find. Better than that red CC.

Nice magnifyin' glass ya got there...

2nd ? of the day. Helping a friend. CC100 was running, just died now no spark. 12 Volts to the A terminal on the S/G, 3-4 Ohms on the coil. Points are opening and closing. Any suggestions? THANK YOU!

Greg:
Check for 12 volts to the + terminal on the coil, disconnect the wire to the points from the - terminal, use a jumper wire from the - terminal to a good ground (just touch it to the ground and release). If ya got spark, the points or the wire to the points or the condenser are bad. No spark, try another coil...And of course, check the ground on the shell of the coil..

What model ?? Arms don't look the same...

Thanks Matt (a few days late) for the reply, I had no idea what the first deck was for. I thought I could use the spindles for my 149. The original deck didn't really show all the gobbed on pieces or I wouldn't have bought it. I will be putting them in the for sale section. (Real cheap). Nick

Kendell,
I'll just post pics when i get it mounted up.
It will mount under NF's or WF's by just re-arranging the brackets from what I'm told.
I have no idea since it's the first one I've actually seen in person.
I did find out messing with it today that one side does the angle and the other side does the tilting of the blade. It's actually a pretty simple setup.

This cub followed me home today. It doesn't look to bad. But I don't think it is a Kohler can someone make out by these pic's what it is.

Mike...any chance you have a closer pic of the engine ? From what I can see it doesn't appear to be a Kohler, almost looks like it has gear reduction in the first pic. What size are the tires on those car rims ?

Hey Mike - that thing ain't gonna bite - get a little closer with the camera. The only half way distinctive thing I can see is the crankcase base and the air cleaner...

Brendan types faster.. ( I was Googling engine pics...)

Mike
From what I can see, it looks like a Wisconsin.
If it is, what appears to be a tag below the muffler should be on the magneto housing.
Also the spec. tag will be on the fan shroud to the rear, right under your battery.

Gee Charlie,,, Have you got anything it fits on????? Does not look very used. Ranger Buck had one for a CCO that had some good wear on the cutter and still had some sign of being used in asphalt work. Bolt holes had seen wear too. Looks like you got a nice one!

Hey Mike - you're looking for medicine for a stacked Kohler, - right???

Dear Kraig,

I got the hydro and rear-end back together and installed in my 782 and it does not leak anymore!! All your help was great, THANK YOU VERY MUCH!!! The hydro control shifter is a little out of adjustment now, but with a little tinkering, I think I can make it work correctly. The problem is that the tractor won't go quite as fast as it did. The real problem that I have is coming from my wife. She says that the deck needs to be raised up. She thinks the mower is cutting to low. I have measured from the bottom of the blades to the ground and it measures 3 and 1/2 inches. The deck is a IH 44 inch model. The cam adjustment is set at the highest point. Is it OK to raise the deck up with the hydraulic lift cylinder and let the deck hang down or do I need some sort of stop so the deck is stabilized in some sort of way? I checked the FAQ section and didn't see anything about deck heights or adjustments. Sounds like I need your wisdom again.
Thanks,
Phil Wood
