Hi fellas, saw a question from someone about having problems with his cub cadet carb flooding. I have a 2001 or thereabouts cub cadet with the same problem. The carb has an electrical wire coming out of it, does it have anything to do with this problem, is there something else I need to check or will I have to buy a new carb?

Thanks,

Ed

Typically the electrical wire is a needle shut off to keep gas from flowing when there is no voltage to the carb.

Flooding is typically a float problem. Remove the bowl and bend the little tab that pushes up on the needle.
