I have a 42”, XT1 about 4 years old. I recently ran over something while cutting my lawn and bent the left side blade. Replaced both blades with a new set and bow the left side cuts about 1” lower than the ride side. The deck is level, tires properly inflated, gauge wheels properly set and as far as I can tell the blades are even under the deck. The arms that hold the rear of the deck are the same on both sides. Any suggestions out there? Thanks!

Something has to be bent. Possibly the deck shell even tho it doesn't look like it.

Some have written about Taking the deck, flipping it over and laying a straight edge across the bottom lip of the deck to measure blade height when deck is suspected of being bent.

Well, it looks like I have a warped deck causing my problems. Any suggestions for a parts supplier in the southeast?

Reece, any machine shops in your area that might be able to press it back?..You won't like the price of a new deck..At best you could switch good parts over to a new shell...Must be a Cub dealer not too far away...The negative is most spindles are alum with steel bolts holding them on,,they have a great tendacy to break after corrosion sets in...good luck

I have seen the deck shell bent many times. The deck materials are so damned cheap any more.
