Guys I wanted to let you know I was able to get my 149 with 44 inch deck to a cutting high of 4 1/4 inches. I was able to do this by changing the solid lift link to a shorter one, and there was enough thread left on the adjustable lift link on the other side to level both sides of the deck. The factory setup only allowed me a max height of 3.5”. My grass looks so much better at 4.250” and will help it get through these brutal heat waves I have had this summer. If I wasn’t lucky enough to find the magic size link I was going to weld in the link opening enough to get what I needed to get 4 inches or more. This was a simple solution I was able to come up with without making major changes to the deck hanger. Hope this helps..
