Trying something new....

Hi all
I'm just wanting to let you know that since the upgrade has happened, we have more room for those images and individual threads. One of the reasons we want to try a thread per topic, rather than one long thread, as it will be easier to find a specific topic and we do have the server space to do this. Also, this software allows you to watch a specific thread so you get alerts (notifications) here or here and email when someone posts to that thread.

This is why I have the settings made so you can start a new topic or reply to a new topic.
I know it's different from the before, but give this a good try.

That 'one thread for each topic' is probably the biggest difference between the old and new sites. I think we'll get used to it, and appreciate that "Watch" feature.

The watch feature will be good. Hey, one thing I just noticed is that we don't have our old "Smilies". We had a lot of cool custom ones.

Maybe I can find some of the old smileys. Did you have any particular ones that you liked a lot? Or that you remember?

Here are most of them. Sorry for the small size, had to shrink the screen to capture the whole page (and still cut off the top line).

I went to the 'wayback machine' and was able to pull up the list.

@klindstedt Thanks so much for that. I've made a note so I can work on it once the general operational tweaking is done. We are getting close.

I created these several years ago from IH Brochures and edited in a background that matched the old forums color. I'll get them cleaned up with a white background to match the new.
