International Harvester was one of the Companys that built a product to last, almost forever, with a little preventative maintenance on the part of the operators. I've seen it 1st hand, over my years of ownership, and working for them. That's one of the reasons that I'll drag almost anything IH related home, when I find it. BIG Tractors, little tractors, in-between, they were ALL "built to last".
