Changing the rear axle gasket on my 882 (changing the fluid). Should I use any gasket sealer?
thanks in advance..Joe

Most people will say to use just the cub cadet supplied gasket. You'll need to clean both surfaces really good and make sure your rear cover doesn't have any bends in it or it will leak. I've never had luck with mine and it has always leaked with the gasket. So, I just use the gasket stuff you buy in a tube and I've never had a problem yet. Plus it's alot cheaper than the gasket.
