Hello,

I just got a 1969 Cub 125 Hydro from my Grandpa. I dont have any pictures yet, just got it hauled to my house and haven't gotten it out of the trailer yet. I'll get some pictures of it uploaded soon. Been busy getting ready for second kid, wife is due in couple months.

Here are some photos. I would like some help with this as well. This cub has been what I called 'Nialed', Nial was my Granpas name. I know the deck isn't to go infant of tractor. But if there is anything else that isn't factory let me know. I would like to bring this back to as factory as I can, while keeping some things that my Grandpa did. Like deck on the front. Here are some pictures of it in my trailer, then finally get it unloaded last night and in garage. The loader bucket is buried in my truck bed right now.

In garage.

Your Cub is an early August 1968 build.
Looks like you have a he!! of a lot of work in front of you!
Good luck and have fun!!
Thank you! The big thing I want to know is, is that where the Danco pump goes? How do you know its August 1968?

DanCo pump???
You are referring to what?
You have a DanCo loader in that pile of stuff?
Aug '68 by the serial number breakdown.
That info is available on this site and in "50 Years of Cub Cadet" by Oscar H. Wills III

Yes, I circled the pump and arms. The bucket is in bed of my truck, haven't gotten it out yet.

Hard to tell just what that is.
I do see some loader parts though.
Tell you what, get some decent pic's when you get it all unloaded, cleaned up a bit and sorted out and send them to me.
You can PM me through my profile info I believe.
I will be glad to work with you on this project If I can be of assistance.
My loader is a model 2149, built for the 1st wide frame series #6 Cub Cadets and is mounted on a 149.
The pump is mounted on the left side of the subframe and powered by a belt off the hydro coupler on the the flywheel end of the engine.
From what I can see, and it's not much, it's hard to tell just what that is, maybe a power steering pump of some kind??
Although it does appear to be a model RD300 unit that was built for the Originals

You will find a lot of useful info here http://ccmanuals.info/manuals.html and here http://ccmanuals.info/pdf/Danco R300 Loader Install Manual.pdf
