See youtube '1966 cub cadet 102 garden tractor with rear pto' video. If not for a roto tiller, what's it for?
The OEM tiller is powered with a long belt from the front PTO clutch. People have made other things. Only thing I have really ever heard of it being used for it to run a grain elevator or hay bale elevator. The rear PTO turns 525 RPM and the opposite direction of the 540RPM PTO standard. Not very useful without a rarer still reverser gearbox, and then you still have a tractor that is too small to use most 540 PTO implements.

The presumably original throw-out bearing decided to take a dump, so out came the driveshaft/clutch. The clutch disc was practically brand new, so only a new OEM 703-0600 bearing/sleeve, and 732-3017 teaser spring were installed. Now, the clutch is quiet again. The only issue is that the bearing was made in Chyna, but it was physically larger than the one I removed.
