Milling splines

I'm just curious if anyone can give me a few pointers on milling splines. I have used a mill before, so I understand how it works, but I need to figure out what cutter to use and where to get it, and how to set everything up to cut the splines. The splines are involute if that makes a difference.

Matt- i talked to the owner of a tool and die shop just down the road from me about this, he said he rented dies from a chicago shop to "broach" the splines,because that was the best way(economicaly)to do it.the dies where high in price to rent(for a week),but for him the cost of set up time with an index wheel on a mill,it was worth it. but he also said when he rented the dies it was for multiple parts,the more the better the price(of parts)...T
