Any advice would be greatly appreciated on restoring my first cub 100 and engine ran but dies after I mow for about 10 mins. Are there any high compression set ups out there for ‘k241. And btw I love this little thing.

Only thought on the engine stalling at a fairly consistant 10 minutes would be to check the fuel tank vent. On all small engine equipment, Spiders like to clog these vents.

Nice progress! As to the engine dying after ten minutes, another cause could be a failing condenser.

Keep the pictures and questions coming,I recommend using a thread restorer ,and replacing any damaged or mushed up fasteners. Also ordering and replacing parts that might be easier while its apart. This is a enjoyable thred to me as I realize the work,my PO did to my 125 to make it a great tractor

I wasn’t going to but am now and started working on engine tear down look what I found. Guess they ran out of 241 blocks and has Lp head. Going to have to take to machine shop for over bore and valve job. Standard piston so lots of room lol. Looking to set this tractor up for stock class puller for my daughter. That being said how for can I over bore this 301/241? Any advice would be greatly appreciated. Thank you
