Been messing with a k241 that has had a recent rebuild. I can't get it to run too good. I suspect the carb is the problem. When you put a slight load on it, it dies out and fuel starts to mist out of the carb as it die out and struggles to run. Take the load away and slowley clears out.
 
it sounds like the float and needle is sticking. if and when it stalls after a heavy load, does the fuel run out the intake?
